Wiki Policies

General Rules
The following are the general guidelines on the Feng Ling Yu Xiu Wiki. Please ensure you've read and understood them.
  1. Follow FANDOM's ToU: FANDOM has it's own Terms of Use and Community Policies that are required to be followed as part of this platform. As part of this, all editors must be 13 years of age or older in order to edit this wiki.
  2. Keep it civil: Do not make personal attacks on other people. If you need to criticize another user’s argument, do so without attacking them as a person.
  3. Language: Do not use bigoted language, including slurs which degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc. As this wiki is for ages 13+, you may use minor profanities such as "hell, damn, piss, and ass," but nothing more. The "f-word," "b-word," etc. are not allowed. Use your judgement. Users who break the language rule will first receive a warning, expect for those using slurs. ANY usage of a slur will result in a permaban. Be respectful.
  4. Non-English: American English/Mandarin Chinese when needed should be used in the article body (see the Manual of Style), however, any language may be spoken on user pages, in discussions, or in comments. Please respect non-English users and do not bulldoze their discussions with "speak English please" or otherwise harass them.
  5. Do not engage in excessive self-promotion: The wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is NOT a free place to advertise your related website, YouTube channel, blog, social media account, etc. You are welcome to share your own content once in a while, especially if it's relevant to an ongoing discussion. Please remember to limit this, however. If your entire purpose on the wiki is to promote yourself, you violate this rule. Have a question about whether your link would be welcome? As an administrator.
  6. Zero harassment permitted: If somebody asks you to stop doing something, as it is upsetting them (such posting certain content on their wall), respect their wishes. (Note: This is subject to administrator judgement. Use your own when deciding if behavior is allowed.)
  7. Follow the Manual of Style: When a community has established formatting, it’s important to adhere to that, especially when spoiler content is involved.
Editing Policy
The following applies to all users who wish to edit content on the wiki.
  1. Be a productive member of the wiki: Contribute to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. Need help? Ask an administrator! Disrupting the wiki with “edit warring” over differing opinions of a topic with another user or group of users is not productive.
  2. Canonical information only: No fan theories or speculation allowed anywhere on any article. You may post your speculation on your user page, a discussion board, in the comments, on or a blog post.
  3. Cite your sources: Things that can be debated by users ("she is a generally kind person," "he has romantic feelings for him," "they're considered the strongest fighter in the land") should be cited with a specific episode or official statement. Additionally, plot occurrences that aren't easy to find should also be cited--things like character's history or synopsis. Things that are objective and easy to verify, such as a character's eye color or an episode summary do not need to be cited. See the Manual of Style for how to cite, as well as a more in-depth citation guide.
Image Policy
The following policies for any and all images uploaded to the wiki.
  1. Official art only: Only images from official sources, such as the official promotional art released by Bilibili, donghua screenshots, etc. are allowed to be used within article spaces.
    • Fan art, however is permitted in user spaces. This includes things like your user page, comments sections, discussions, in blogs. However you must have PROOF that you are either the original artist has allowed reuploads of their work. This must be linked next to the uploaded work. There is a three-strike rule with art theft.
  2. Naming: Follow these steps: 1) Keep it short 2) Keep it descriptive.
  3. Licensing: Mark as either fair use (for most things), used with permission (fan art you're allowed to post), or own work. Unlicensed images are deleted.
    • Okay: "EP1S4.jpg" marked as fair use.
    • Not okay: "Screenshot (14).jpg" with no licensing tag.
  4. Subtitles and logos: The wiki highly prioritizes RAW images, however, finding logo-less and subtitle-less images can be extremely difficult. The only logo that are permitted on images are the Bilibili logo. It is preferred images are cropped to remove subs. However, if the subs must be visible, they must be the official translation and blurred out as not to distract from content. Any images with unofficial logos will be removed, as well as anything with visible subtitles.
  5. Other clutter: Please ensure things like black border, computer pointers, etc. are removed from images.
  6. NSFW: Pornographic images of any kind are banned, as well as any excessive/disturbing gore.
  7. Duplicates: Please check and make sure there's no existing copy of an image you wish to upload. The best way to check his is to go to an episode page for screenshots, or a the gallery of a character who appears in the image for everything else.
Leaks & Piracy
The following policies for any leaked or illegal content on the wiki.
  1. Leaks: On the chance that any content is leaked by online fans prior to an official release, it is not permitted on the wiki for any reason. Please wait until it's officially released.
  2. Piracy: Do not link or discuss illegal ways to watch the donghua or related media. This rule applies to all of FANDOM. Implying illegal methods ("You the high seas"/"Maybe try looking in less orthodox places"/etc.) counts as mentioning piracy.
